    Job Title: Construction Electrician

    Job Summary:

    The Construction Electrician will be responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical systems in construction projects in Canada. This role requires expertise in electrical installations, knowledge of electrical codes, and strong technical skills. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with construction teams, adhere to safety standards, and contribute to the successful completion of projects.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with electrical codes and regulations.
    • Interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to plan and execute electrical installations.
    • Collaborate with construction teams to determine electrical requirements, layout, and wiring specifications for projects.
    • Install, connect, and test electrical wiring, fixtures, switches, and outlets.
    • Troubleshoot electrical issues, diagnose problems, and implement effective solutions.
    • Perform electrical maintenance tasks, including inspections, testing, and repairs.
    • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including proper grounding and electrical safety practices.
    • Conduct electrical load calculations and make recommendations for electrical system upgrades or modifications.
    • Adhere to project schedules and timelines, coordinating electrical work with other construction activities.
    • Maintain accurate documentation of electrical installations, repairs, and inspections.

    Required Qualifications and Experience:

    • Journeyman Electrician certification or equivalent electrical trade qualification.
    • Valid electrical license or eligibility for electrical licensing in the relevant province in Canada.
    • Proven experience as a Construction Electrician, preferably in the construction industry.
    • Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety practices.
    • Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
    • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
    • Familiarity with electrical tools, equipment, and testing devices.
    • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
