    Job Title: Construction Project Manager

    Job Summary:

    The Construction Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising construction projects in Canada. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent project management abilities, and a thorough understanding of the construction industry. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders, contractors, and other team members to ensure projects are completed within budget, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage the overall planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects, adhering to project timelines, budget constraints, and quality standards.
    • Coordinate and collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure effective project coordination and successful outcomes.
    • Develop project plans, including scope, budget, and schedule, and monitor progress throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications.
    • Lead and motivate project teams, providing guidance, support, and resolving any issues that may arise during construction.
    • Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, and change orders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
    • Oversee the procurement of materials, equipment, and services, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effective solutions.
    • Monitor project financials, track expenses, and prepare regular progress reports for stakeholders.
    • Foster strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs, concerns, and maintaining customer satisfaction.
    • Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and regulations, implementing them into project management processes.

    Required Qualifications and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
    • Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager, successfully delivering projects of varying size and complexity.
    • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
    • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
    • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
    • Effective communication and leadership abilities.
    • Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

    Preferred Skills and Attributes:

    • PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials.
    • Experience working on construction projects in Canada.
    • Knowledge of Canadian building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
    • Familiarity with sustainable construction practices.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
    • Detail-oriented and quality-focused.
