Job Overview

The Construction Worker will be involved in various tasks related to siding installation, exterior renovations, and general construction duties. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team on construction sites.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation and repair of siding materials on residential and commercial properties
• Perform general construction tasks, including measuring, cutting, and fitting materials
• Prepare and maintain construction sites, including setting up equipment and materials
• Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure a safe working environment
• Operate construction tools and machinery, such as saws, drills, and scaffolding
• Collaborate with other construction workers and contractors to complete projects on time
• Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans to ensure accurate installation
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work site and equipment
• Report any issues or safety hazards to the site supervisor

Qualifications/Skills

• Strong manual dexterity and physical stamina
• Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and plans
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of construction safety practices and regulations
• Proficiency with hand and power tools used in construction

Education and Experience Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in construction or siding installation is preferred
• Training or certification in construction safety (e.g., WHMIS, First Aid) is an asset
• Experience with siding materials and techniques is a plus
