Responsibilities
As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for the following key tasks:
- Data Pipeline Development: Design and develop efficient and scalable data pipelines to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into our data warehouse.
- Database Management: Manage and maintain our data warehouse and databases, ensuring data integrity, security, and optimal performance.
- Data Modeling: Work closely with data scientists and analysts to design data models that support business intelligence and analytics requirements.
- Data Integration: Integrate data from diverse sources, including internal databases, third-party APIs, and external data feeds.
- Big Data Technologies: Explore and implement big data technologies to handle large volumes of data and enable real-time data processing.

- Data Security: Ensure data security and compliance with privacy regulations by implementing appropriate data protection measures.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize data processes and queries to enhance the overall performance and efficiency of our data systems.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and software engineers, to understand data requirements and deliver data solutions.
- Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor data pipelines and proactively address any issues or bottlenecks that may arise.

Qualifications and Skills
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Educational Background: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Proven experience as a Data Engineer, with a strong understanding of data integration, ETL processes, and database management.
