Job Responsibilities:
- Provide essential care and support to elderly clients in a home or residential care setting.
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and medication reminders.
- Monitor and assess clients' physical, emotional, and cognitive well-being, reporting any changes to healthcare professionals.
- Develop and follow individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs and preferences.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities, fostering companionship and promoting mental stimulation.
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition and hydration.
- Create a safe and comfortable environment, focusing on fall prevention and injury reduction.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to combat feelings of isolation.
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care for clients.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of care provided and observations made.

Qualifications:
- Certification or training in Personal Support Worker (PSW), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), or equivalent program is preferred.
- Previous experience in eldercare, home care, or healthcare settings is a strong asset.

- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and colleagues.
- Understanding of elderly care principles, including dignity, respect, and independence.

- Physical stamina to assist clients with mobility and perform caregiving tasks.
