Job Overview

The Janitor Supervisor will oversee the janitorial staff and ensure that all cleaning operations are conducted efficiently and to the highest standards. This role involves managing daily cleaning tasks, training staff, and ensuring compliance with safety and cleanliness protocols.

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the janitorial staff to ensure effective cleaning operations
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to assess cleanliness and identify areas for improvement
• Train and mentor janitorial staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and equipment use
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and order replacements as needed
• Handle staff scheduling, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions
• Address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by staff or building occupants
• Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, staff performance, and inventory
