Job Responsibilities:
- Operate and drive different types of trucks, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Transport goods from origin to destination, ensuring timely and safe deliveries.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure roadworthiness.
- Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and delivery schedules.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a Truck Driver, with a strong understanding of safe driving practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle physical demands such as heavy lifting and long hours on the road.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience as a Truck Driver.
Working Environments: Truck Drivers may work in various environments, including long-haul routes, local deliveries, and different weather conditions. This role involves extensive driving and may require overnight stays away from home.
