Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Delivery Truck Driver Helper to join our team in Canada. The Delivery Truck Driver Helper will assist the driver in delivering goods to customers and ensure timely and efficient delivery operations.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist the delivery truck driver in loading and unloading goods.
- Help secure cargo properly for transportation.
- Navigate routes and provide directions to the driver.
- Assist with delivering goods to customers and obtaining signatures for proof of delivery.
- Handle invoices, receipts, and other delivery-related paperwork.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery truck and equipment.
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations while on the job.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients.
Qualifications/Skills
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling paperwork.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of road safety rules and regulations.
Education and Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required.
