Job Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol hotel premises to prevent and detect any unauthorized access or suspicious activities
- Respond promptly to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies
- Conduct regular security checks of all areas, including entrances, corridors, and parking areas
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems
- Provide assistance and guidance to guests and employees as needed
- Report any security breaches, safety hazards, or incidents to appropriate authorities and management
- Collaborate with other security team members and hotel staff to maintain a safe and secure environment
- Enforce hotel policies and procedures related to security and safety
Qualifications/Skills
- Strong observation and surveillance skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
- Physical fitness and ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to handle and diffuse tense situations with diplomacy and professionalism
- Previous experience in security or law enforcement is preferred
- Valid security license or certification is required
Education and Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in security or law enforcement preferred
- Training in security procedures and protocols is an asset
Working Environments
