Job Overview
Four Seasons in Kuwait is seeking a skilled and passionate Asian Kitchen Cook to join our culinary team. The Asian Kitchen Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking Asian-inspired dishes to ensure high-quality dining experiences for our guests.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of Asian dishes, including stir-fries, curries, sushi, and noodle dishes
- Ensure adherence to recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and cooking stations
- Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering ingredients as needed
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and service
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Assist with menu planning and development of new dishes
- Provide guidance and support to junior kitchen staff as needed
Qualifications/Skills
- Proven experience as a cook specializing in Asian cuisine
- Strong knowledge of Asian cooking techniques and ingredients
- Excellent culinary skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
Education and Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Culinary degree or certification preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a cook specializing in Asian cuisine
