Job Overview
AlMansoori Petroleum Services in Oman is seeking an Assistant Operator to join our team. The Assistant Operator will be responsible for supporting various operations in the oil and gas industry under the supervision of senior operators.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist with the setup and operation of equipment and machinery
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment and tools
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Monitor equipment performance and report any issues to senior operators
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolving equipment malfunctions
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance activities
- Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge
- Adhere to company policies and regulations
Qualifications/Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to work in outdoor and sometimes challenging conditions
- Previous experience in the oil and gas industry is an asset but not required
Education and Experience Requirements
