Job Overview
Ingram Micro is currently seeking a skilled and safety-conscious individual to join our team as a Forklift Operator in Dubai. The Forklift Operator will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to efficiently and safely move products within our warehouse facility.
Job Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and move products within the warehouse.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and procedures at all times.
- Inspect forklifts and equipment for any defects or malfunctions and report issues to the supervisor.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movement and transactions.
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks as needed.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to prioritize tasks and meet operational goals.
Qualifications/Skills
- Valid forklift operator certification/license.
- Proven experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team setting.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects.
Education and Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Forklift operator certification from a recognized training program.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse or similar setting.
Working Environments
- Warehouse setting with potential exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels.
- Collaboration with warehouse staff and supervisors.
- Potential overtime and weekend work may be required.
