Job Overview
Emirates Flight Catering is currently seeking experienced Heavy Drivers to join our team in Dubai. As a Heavy Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials to various locations, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to all traffic and safety regulations.
Job Responsibilities
- Safely operate heavy vehicles, including trucks and trailers, to transport goods and materials.
- Load and unload cargo from vehicles, ensuring proper handling and securement.
- Plan and follow efficient routes to deliver goods to designated locations on time.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and delivery confirmations.
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks as needed.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and safety standards while driving.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules.
Qualifications/Skills
- Valid UAE driving license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience driving heavy vehicles, preferably in a commercial or logistics setting.
- Knowledge of traffic laws, regulations, and safety procedures.
- Ability to operate heavy vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Education and Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience driving heavy vehicles.
- Valid UAE heavy vehicle driving license (category 4 or above).
Working Environments
- On the road, transporting goods to various locations.
