    Job Overview

    We are seeking a friendly and organized individual to join our team in Canada as a Hotel Receptionist. The Hotel Receptionist will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to guests, managing reservations, and handling inquiries both in person and over the phone.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Greet guests upon arrival and assist with check-in/check-out procedures.
    • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
    • Manage hotel reservations, including booking and cancellations.
    • Maintain accurate records of guest information and payment transactions.
    • Answer phone calls and respond to emails in a timely manner.
    • Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
    • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and photocopying.
    • Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure a seamless guest experience.

    Qualifications/Skills

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong customer service orientation.
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling reservations and payments.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Fidelio).

    Education and Experience Requirements

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred.
    • Knowledge of hotel operations and procedures is advantageous.

    Working Environments

    • Hotel lobby or reception area.
    • Interaction with guests, hotel staff, and vendors.
