Job Overview
Movenpick Hotels & Resorts is seeking dedicated individuals to join our housekeeping team in Oman. As a member of our housekeeping staff, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness throughout the hotel, ensuring a pleasant and comfortable experience for our guests.
Job Responsibilities
- Clean and tidy guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to hotel standards.
- Change linens, make beds, and replenish amenities as needed.
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust surfaces in guest rooms and public spaces.
- Dispose of trash and recyclables in a sanitary manner.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate department.
- Assist with laundry duties as required.
- Uphold health and safety regulations at all times.
Qualifications/Skills
- Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina for standing, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred but not required.
Education and Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality is a plus.
Working Environments
- Indoor hotel environment, including guest rooms, corridors, and public areas.
- Physical labor, including bending, lifting, and pushing cleaning equipment.
