Job Overview
Hotel Indigo in Oman is seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Officer to join our team. The HR Officer will be responsible for supporting various human resources functions, including recruitment, employee relations, training, and compliance.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist with recruitment activities, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews
- Coordinate new employee onboarding and orientation processes
- Maintain employee records and databases
- Assist with performance management processes, including conducting evaluations and providing feedback to employees
- Coordinate training and development initiatives for employees
- Handle employee relations issues and provide guidance and support to employees and managers
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations
- Assist with HR projects and initiatives as needed
Qualifications/Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Previous experience in HR or related field preferred
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR or related field
