Job Responsibilities
As an Assistant Consultant in Kidney & Pancreas Transplant Surgery, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting pre-transplant evaluations of potential organ recipients and living donors.
- Performing kidney and pancreas transplant surgeries with precision and expertise.
- Coordinating with transplant coordinators and multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care before, during, and after transplantation.
- Providing post-transplant follow-up care, monitoring patients' progress, and adjusting treatment plans as needed.
- Participating in transplant research initiatives and contributing to the advancement of transplant surgery techniques.
- Mentoring and supervising surgical residents and fellows in transplant surgery procedures.
Qualifications/Skills
The ideal candidate for this position should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Medical degree (MD or equivalent).
- Board certification in General Surgery or Transplant Surgery.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in kidney and pancreas transplant surgeries.
- Proficiency in performing complex transplant surgeries independently.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
Education and Experience Requirements
