Job Responsibilities
- Monitor and ensure the safety of individuals in the swimming area
- Respond promptly to emergencies and provide first aid as needed
- Enforce pool rules and regulations
- Conduct regular inspections of the pool and equipment
- Assist in organizing and overseeing swimming events and activities
Qualifications/Skills
- Lifeguard certification from a recognized authority
- Strong swimming skills and knowledge of water rescue techniques
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Excellent communication and observational skills
- Ability to remain calm and focused in emergency situations
Education and Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Lifeguard certification from a recognized organization
- Previous experience as a lifeguard is preferred
