Experience
- 3 years to less than 5 years
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide medication reminders and assist with medication administration.
- Support clients in mobility and physical exercises as prescribed.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals, ensuring dietary needs and preferences are met.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Personal Support Worker (PSW) certification from a recognized institution.
- Empathy, patience, and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and follow care plans.
- Understanding of client safety and infection control practices.
- First Aid and CPR certification is preferred.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- PSW diploma or equivalent certification.
- Previous experience in home care or long-term care settings is an asset.
