Job Responsibilities
- Patient Care:
- Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications.
- Assess patient conditions and collaborate with healthcare teams to develop care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and treatment options.
- Clinical Procedures:
- Perform various clinical procedures such as wound care, IV therapy, and catheterization.
- Assist physicians during examinations, treatments, and procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities and medical records.
- Health Promotion:
- Promote health and wellness through patient education and preventive care measures.
- Participate in community health programs and initiatives.
- Advocate for patient rights and provide emotional support to patients and families.
Qualifications/Skills
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Nursing.
- Valid nursing license or registration in Muscat.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing principles and practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a registered nurse.
- Experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred.
- Additional certifications or specialization in areas such as critical care or pediatrics may be advantageous.
