Job Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of their healthcare needs.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Monitor patients' conditions and report changes to physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, medications, and self-care techniques.
- Maintain accurate and updated patient records and documentation.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
- Empathy, compassion, and a patient-centered approach to care.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing for RN positions; Diploma in Practical Nursing for LPN positions.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications are required.
