Job Overview:
Northwestern University in Doha is currently seeking a dynamic and organized individual to join our team as a Production Coordinator. The Production Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the planning and execution of various academic and cultural events, performances, and productions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate logistics and operations for events, performances, and productions, including scheduling, venue setup, and equipment procurement.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and participants to ensure smooth execution of events.
- Assist with budget management, expense tracking, and financial reporting for production projects.
- Coordinate promotional activities and marketing efforts to publicize events and attract attendees.
- Provide administrative support, including managing calendars, organizing meetings, and maintaining event databases.
- Assist with technical production needs, such as audiovisual setup and troubleshooting.
- Monitor and evaluate event effectiveness and attendee feedback to inform future improvements.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Proficiency in event planning software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Previous experience in event coordination or production management is preferred.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Communications, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in event coordination or production management.
Working Environments:
- Office environment with occasional on-site event management.
- May require working evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
