As a Production Worker (Packaging Operator), you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process by ensuring the efficient and accurate packaging of our products. Your primary responsibility will be to operate packaging machinery and equipment to package goods according to the established guidelines and quality standards.
In this role, your responsibilities will include:
1. Operating Packaging Machinery
- Set up and operate packaging machinery and equipment, such as filling machines, labeling machines, and conveyor systems.
- Monitor and adjust machine settings to ensure proper packaging of products.
- Load packaging materials into machines and replenish supplies as needed.
- Perform regular inspections of machinery to identify and resolve any issues or malfunctions.
2. Packaging and Quality Control
- Package goods according to the specified requirements, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Perform quality control checks to ensure that products meet the established standards.
- Identify and report any quality issues or deviations from the standard procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to uphold hygiene and safety standards.
3. Documentation and Record Keeping
- Complete packaging logs, production reports, and other required documentation accurately and timely.
- Record information such as production quantities, equipment downtime, and any incidents or maintenance needs.
- Collaborate with the production team to communicate any relevant information or updates.
To be successful in this role, the following qualifications are required:
1. Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Training or certification in operating packaging machinery is a plus.
2. Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Capability to lift and carry moderate weights.
