Job Responsibilities
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory standards and company guidelines.
- Coordinate and conduct safety training programs for employees to raise awareness and promote a culture of safety.
- Investigate and report on accidents, incidents, and near misses, recommending preventive measures.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant safety laws and regulations.
Qualifications/Skills
- Proven experience as a Safety Officer or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and analytical mindset.
- Ability to develop and deliver effective safety training programs.
- Certification in Occupational Health and Safety is a plus.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
- Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH or OSHA.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a safety-related role.
