Job Overview:

Marriott International is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to join our team in Oman. The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales revenue and maximizing occupancy through effective sales strategies and client relationships.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for rooms, events, and other hotel services.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting and networking.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and other key accounts.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries and requests for proposals, providing accurate and detailed information.
  • Conduct site visits and tours for potential clients, showcasing the hotel's facilities and services.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis to management.
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless coordination and execution of sales initiatives.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving financial targets and operational excellence.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in hotel sales or a similar role.
