Job Responsibilities:
- Patrol assigned areas to detect and prevent unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, or any suspicious activities.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms to respond promptly to security breaches.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors, answering inquiries, and providing directions.
- Report incidents, accidents, or unusual activities to the appropriate authorities and supervisors.
- Enforce security policies and procedures to maintain a safe and secure environment.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Valid security license or certification as required by local regulations.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
- Basic computer skills to operate security systems and report incidents.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military is preferred but not mandatory.
Working Environments: Security Guards work in various environments, including offices, retail stores, hospitals, educational institutions, and outdoor venues. The job may involve standing, walking, and occasional periods of physical activity.
