Job Responsibilities
- Patrol designated areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion, trespassing, or unauthorized activity.
- Monitor security cameras and alarm systems to identify and respond to security threats.
- Enforce access control procedures by verifying the identity of individuals entering or exiting the premises.
- Respond to emergencies, such as fires or medical incidents, and take appropriate action to mitigate risks.
- Write detailed incident reports documenting security breaches, disturbances, or other noteworthy events.
Qualifications/Skills
- Strong observation and surveillance skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
- Basic knowledge of security procedures and protocols.
- Physical fitness and the ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
Education and Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in security or law enforcement is preferred but not required.
- Completion of security training courses is advantageous.
