Job Overview:
InterContinental in Qatar is currently seeking diligent and vigilant individuals to join our team as Security Officers. The Security Officers will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of guests, employees, and property within our hotel premises.
Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor surveillance cameras and conduct regular patrols of the hotel premises to detect and prevent unauthorized activity.
- Respond promptly to security incidents and emergencies, including disturbances, thefts, and medical emergencies.
- Maintain a visible presence to deter criminal activity and provide assistance to guests and employees as needed.
- Enforce hotel policies and procedures to maintain order and safety.
- Conduct thorough investigations of security incidents and prepare detailed reports.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as necessary.
- Assist with training and drills to prepare staff for emergency situations.
- Ensure compliance with safety and security regulations and standards.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Excellent observation and surveillance skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Physical fitness and ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in security or law enforcement is preferred.
- Security certification or training is a plus.
