Job Overview
Hotel Indigo in Oman is seeking a skilled and experienced Technician to join our team. The Technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing hotel equipment and facilities to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for guests and staff.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Respond promptly to guest requests for maintenance assistance
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform repairs as needed
- Conduct regular inspections of hotel facilities to identify maintenance needs
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and installations
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
- Assist with preventive maintenance programs to prolong the lifespan of equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
Qualifications/Skills
- Strong technical skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Education and Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Technical certification or diploma in a relevant field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance or a related field
