Job Overview
We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tire Changer to join our team in Canada. The Tire Changer will be responsible for efficiently and safely changing tires on various vehicles, ensuring high-quality service for our customers.
Job Responsibilities
- Remove and install tires on passenger vehicles, trucks, and other vehicles.
- Inspect tires for damage and tread wear, recommending replacements as needed.
- Balance tires and perform tire rotations as required.
- Use appropriate tools and equipment to perform tire changing tasks.
- Ensure proper disposal of old tires in accordance with environmental regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tire changing area.
- Provide excellent customer service and address any customer concerns or inquiries.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
Qualifications/Skills
- Experience in tire changing or automotive maintenance preferred.
- Knowledge of tire sizes, brands, and specifications.
- Ability to operate tire changing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in tire installation.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy tires.
Education and Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in tire changing or automotive service preferred.
- Certification in tire changing or automotive repair is an asset.
Working Environments
- Automotive service center or garage environment.
- Exposure to noise, grease, and vehicle exhaust.
