Job Overview
Malabar Group in Oman is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team. The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, and analyzing financial data to support business operations.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets in a timely manner
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making
- Assist with audits and tax filings
- Reconcile bank statements and accounts payable/receivable
- Monitor cash flow and prepare cash forecasts
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to support financial planning and analysis
Qualifications/Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA or equivalent qualification preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance role
