    Job Description

    As a Barista in Canada, your primary responsibility will be to prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages to customers. Your duties may include:

    1. Beverage Preparation: Prepare and serve a range of coffee and tea beverages, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, macchiato, and specialty drinks. Follow established recipes and brewing techniques to ensure consistency and quality.
    2. Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and answering any questions they may have about the menu. Offer recommendations based on customers' preferences and dietary restrictions.
    3. Cash Handling and Point of Sale: Process customer payments, operate the cash register, and handle financial transactions accurately. Familiarize yourself with the point-of-sale system to efficiently record orders and maintain accurate sales records.
    4. Maintaining Cleanliness: Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in the work area, including the coffee machines, equipment, and utensils. Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe environment for both staff and customers.
    5. Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies. Assist in restocking and maintaining inventory to ensure smooth operations.
    6. Drink Customization: Accommodate customers' requests for drink modifications, such as adjusting the sweetness level, adding extra shots of espresso, or substituting milk alternatives. Pay attention to detail to meet customers' preferences.
    7. Knowledge of Products: Stay updated with product knowledge, including coffee origins, brewing methods, flavor profiles, and seasonal offerings. Share your knowledge with customers to enhance their coffee experience.
    8. Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations, especially during peak hours. Assist in any other tasks as assigned by the supervisor to maintain a smooth workflow.
