Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to our established recipes and quality standards.
- Greet customers warmly, take orders, and provide personalized recommendations based on their preferences.
- Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment with precision and care.
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including cleaning equipment, utensils, and counters.
- Assist in restocking supplies and inventory management.
- Uphold a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
- Engage with customers, answer questions about menu items, and provide information about coffee origins and brewing methods.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
- Stay updated on current coffee trends and offerings.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Barista is preferred, but training will be provided for candidates with a passion for coffee and a strong desire to learn.
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, equipment, and espresso machine operation.
- Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining quality standards.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new recipes and menu items.
- Valid work permit or eligibility for visa sponsorship in Canada.
