Marriott International in Oman is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. The Bartender will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages to guests in our hotel bar, ensuring exceptional service and customer satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests according to recipes and standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies and cleaning equipment
- Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing recommendations and assistance as needed
- Process orders accurately and handle cash and credit card transactions
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption and ensure responsible service
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage orders
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies
Qualifications/Skills
- Strong knowledge of cocktail recipes and mixology techniques
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role preferred
Education and Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification in bartending or a related field is an asset
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in bartending or a related field
