Job Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods and packages to customers' locations.
- Plan and optimize delivery routes for efficient and timely deliveries.
- Handle packages with care to prevent damage during transportation.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns professionally.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and payments when necessary.
- Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations while on the road.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure timely loading and unloading of goods.
Qualifications/Skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling packages.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with local roads, neighborhoods, and GPS navigation systems.
Education and Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in delivery or related customer service roles is preferred but not required.
- Training will be provided for candidates with no prior experience.
