Job Overview
Anantara in Oman is seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join our team as an Engineering Supervisor. The Engineering Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of hotel facilities and equipment to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the engineering team
- Plan and prioritize maintenance tasks to ensure timely completion
- Conduct regular inspections of hotel facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors for repairs and installations
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
- Train and mentor engineering staff on proper maintenance procedures
- Assist with budget planning and cost control initiatives
- Respond to guest inquiries and resolve maintenance issues promptly
Qualifications/Skills
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in engineering or maintenance role
- Previous supervisory experience is an asset
