Job Overview

As an Ethnic Food Cook at Highlight Restaurant, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of traditional dishes from different cultures. Your expertise in ethnic cuisine will help us deliver an exceptional dining experience to our guests. This role requires creativity, precision, and a deep understanding of various cooking techniques and ingredients.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a wide range of ethnic dishes according to traditional recipes and restaurant standards.
• Ensure all dishes are presented beautifully and meet quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Manage inventory, including ordering and stocking ingredients specific to ethnic cuisine.
• Collaborate with the head chef and other kitchen staff to develop new menu items and specials.
• Train and mentor junior kitchen staff on the preparation of ethnic dishes.
• Monitor food waste and work to minimize it while maintaining high-quality standards.
