Job Responsibilities
- Policy Implementation:
- Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with local and international safety standards.
- Risk Assessment:
- Conduct regular risk assessments and implement mitigation measures.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, providing detailed reports.
- Training and Awareness:
- Conduct HSE training sessions for employees.
- Promote a strong safety culture by raising awareness and ensuring understanding.
- Emergency Response:
- Develop and oversee emergency response plans.
- Coordinate drills to evaluate the effectiveness of emergency procedures.
- Compliance Monitoring:
- Monitor and audit workplace activities to ensure adherence to HSE regulations.
- Interface with regulatory agencies for compliance inspections.
Qualifications/Skills
- Proven experience as an HSE Officer or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to conduct thorough risk assessments.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- HSE certification is highly desirable.
