Marriott International, Inc. is currently seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Kitchen & Laundry Technician in Oman. The Kitchen & Laundry Technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing kitchen and laundry equipment to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.

Job Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks on kitchen and laundry equipment according to manufacturer specifications.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and troubleshoot issues to identify root causes.
- Repair or replace defective parts of equipment, such as ovens, dishwashers, refrigerators, and washing machines.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Document maintenance activities and keep accurate records of equipment repairs and replacements.
- Coordinate with external vendors and suppliers for specialized repairs or parts procurement.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new kitchen and laundry equipment.
Qualifications/Skills
- Strong technical skills in troubleshooting and repairing kitchen and laundry equipment.
- Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
Education and Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Technical certification or diploma in electrical, mechanical, or refrigeration engineering is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in kitchen and laundry equipment maintenance, preferably in a hospitality environment.
Working Environments
- Kitchen and laundry areas within a hotel environment.
- Exposure to heat, steam, and cleaning chemicals.
- Collaboration with kitchen and laundry staff and other maintenance technicians.
