    Key Job Responsibilities

    • Package Delivery: Safely deliver packages to residential and commercial locations within the designated area.
    • Customer Interaction: Provide exceptional customer service, answering any questions and handling concerns professionally.
    • Route Management: Plan and follow the most efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries.
    • Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily inspections of the delivery vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition and report any issues promptly.
    • Documentation: Accurately record delivery information using provided devices and software.
    • Safety Compliance: Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
    • Package Handling: Load and unload packages from the delivery vehicle, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.

    Basic Qualifications/Skills

    • Driver’s License: Valid Canadian driver’s license with a clean driving record.
    • Experience: Previous experience in a delivery or driving role is preferred but not required.
    • Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and carry packages up to 70 lbs, and handle physical demands such as walking, bending, and climbing stairs.
    • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
    • Customer Service: Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
    • Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively and adhere to delivery schedules.
    • Reliability: Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Local Knowledge: Familiarity with the local area and driving routes.
    • Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of using GPS and delivery software.
    • Experience: Prior experience with package handling and delivery logistics.
