Job Summary: As a Yeast Processing Labourer, you will play a crucial role in our yeast production process, supporting the creation of high-quality yeast products used in various food and beverage applications. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of tasks, including material handling, operating processing equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. This role requires attention to detail, physical endurance, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards in yeast processing.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and handling of raw materials used in yeast production.
- Operate and maintain yeast processing equipment, such as fermenters, centrifuges, and drying machines.
- Monitor and adjust processing parameters to ensure optimal yeast product quality.
- Perform routine checks and inspections to identify and resolve processing issues.
- Participate in the packaging and labeling of finished yeast products.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the processing area, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) during all work activities.
- Collaborate with other yeast processing staff to ensure efficient production and product consistency.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of yeast products for transportation.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Previous experience in food processing or a related field is advantageous but not mandatory.
