Job Overview
Marriott International is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced individual to join our team in Riyadh as an Assistant Chief Steward. As an Assistant Chief Steward, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen and dining areas, supporting the Chief Steward in managing stewarding operations.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist the Chief Steward in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the stewarding department.
- Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
- Supervise and train stewarding staff in proper cleaning and sanitation procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
- Maintain records of inventory, cleaning schedules, and staff attendance.
- Assist with scheduling and coordinating stewarding staff shifts.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient flow of operations.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints related to stewarding services.
Qualifications/Skills
- Proven experience in a stewarding or kitchen operations role.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation procedures in a kitchen environment.

Education and Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a stewarding or kitchen operations role.
- Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
