    Job Overview

    We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Support Technician to join our team in Canada. The Support Technician will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our clients, ensuring their technology systems operate efficiently and effectively.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Provide technical support to clients via phone, email, or in person.
    • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, diagnose problems, and implement solutions.
    • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals.
    • Set up and support network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
    • Collaborate with other team members to resolve complex technical issues.
    • Document support processes, solutions, and customer interactions.
    • Train clients on the use of technology systems and applications.
    • Stay up-to-date with latest technology trends and developments.

    Qualifications/Skills

    • Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
    • Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
    • Knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.
    • Familiarity with networking protocols and technologies.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Education and Experience Requirements

    • Diploma or degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
    • Previous experience in technical support or IT help desk role preferred.
    • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) are a plus.

    Working Environments

    • Office-based environment with occasional on-site client visits.
    • Some work may be performed remotely.
