Job Responsibilities
- Supervise the storekeeping team and ensure adherence to inventory control procedures.
- Manage and organize inventory, including receiving, storing, and issuing goods.
- Implement best practices to optimize inventory levels and minimize waste.
- Collaborate with various departments to understand their inventory needs and coordinate procurement accordingly.
- Conduct regular audits to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Train and develop storekeeping staff, ensuring a high standard of performance.
- Implement safety and security measures to protect the integrity of the inventory.
Qualifications/Skills
- Proven experience as a Storekeeper or in a similar supervisory role.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and leadership abilities.
- Knowledge of inventory management software.
- Familiarity with relevant health and safety regulations.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in storekeeping or inventory management.
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience is preferred.
