- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of guest rooms, ensuring they meet established standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Change bed linens, make beds, and replace towels and amenities as required.
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and decorative items in guest rooms.
- Vacuum and clean carpets, rugs, and draperies.
- Clean and disinfect bathroom fixtures, including toilets, sinks, showers, and bathtubs.
- Replenish supplies such as soap, shampoo, and toilet paper in guest rooms.
- Ensure all appliances and electronics in guest rooms are in working order.
- Report any maintenance issues or damage to the appropriate department.
- Respond to guest requests and inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
- Follow established safety and security procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including attendance and punctuality requirements.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure efficient room turnover and guest satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping storage areas and carts.
- Assist with laundry duties as needed.
- Attend training sessions and meetings as required.
- Previous experience in housekeeping, janitorial services, or a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and independently.
