Job Overview
Azadea Group is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team in Oman. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting delicious beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages according to company recipes and standards.
- Interact with customers in a friendly and efficient manner, taking orders and offering recommendations when necessary.
- Operate espresso machines, coffee grinders, and other equipment with precision and care.
- Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of all work areas, including equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, following company cash handling procedures.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and promotions to provide accurate information to customers.
- Uphold company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
Qualifications/Skills
- Previous experience as a barista or in a similar role preferred.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong multitasking and organizational abilities.
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and beverage preparation.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.
Education and Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a customer service or food service environment preferred.
Working Environments
- Fast-paced café environment.
- Standing for long periods and occasional lifting of up to 30 pounds may be required.
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
