Job Overview
Marriott International is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our team in Dubai. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment within our hotel properties.
Job Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures.
- Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers, for defects and safety hazards.
- Identify and troubleshoot electrical issues and provide timely repairs.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the safety and functionality of electrical systems.
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff and contractors to complete projects and repairs.
- Adhere to electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards at all times.
Qualifications/Skills
- Proficiency in electrical systems installation, repair, and maintenance.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of electrical codes and regulations.
Education and Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an apprenticeship program or technical school in electrical work.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an electrician, preferably in a hospitality setting.
Working Environments
- Hotel properties with potential exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels.
- Collaboration with maintenance staff and other departments.
- Potential overtime and weekend work may be required.
