Job Overview
Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts in Oman is seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Storekeeper. The Storekeeper will be responsible for managing inventory, receiving and storing supplies, and maintaining accurate records of stock levels.
Job Responsibilities
- Receive deliveries of supplies and verify accuracy of items received
- Store supplies in designated areas and ensure proper storage conditions are maintained
- Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies as needed
- Conduct regular inventory checks and reconcile discrepancies
- Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions
- Assist with inventory audits and inspections
- Coordinate with other departments to fulfill supply requests
- Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards
Qualifications/Skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills
- Previous experience in storekeeping or a related field preferred
Education and Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in storekeeping or a related field preferred
- Training in inventory management is an asset
