Job Responsibilities
- Operate pressing equipment to smooth and finish garments and linens
- Inspect items for wrinkles, stains, or damages before and after pressing
- Follow established procedures and guidelines for pressing different types of fabrics
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the pressing area
- Collaborate with other laundry team members to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times
Qualifications/Skills
- Previous experience as a laundry presser or similar role preferred
- Knowledge of different fabric types and their pressing requirements
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
Education and Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a laundry or hospitality environment preferred
Working Environment
- Fast-paced laundry facility
- Physical requirements including standing for extended periods and lifting heavy items
