Job Responsibilities:
- Harvest ripe apples using proper techniques to ensure product quality.
- Sort and pack apples carefully, avoiding bruising and damage.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily picking targets.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and follow instructions from supervisors.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Physical fitness and ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Attention to detail to differentiate between ripe and unripe apples.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Adaptability to changing weather conditions.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- No formal education required.
- Previous experience in fruit picking or agriculture is an asset but not mandatory.
Working Environments: Apple Pickers work in orchards, exposed to varying weather conditions. Appropriate clothing and protective gear will be provided. The job involves standing, bending, and lifting.
